A Homecoming

I met with my friend, whom I had known since high school, at Camp Pendleton (Marine Corps Base) in Oceanside, CA to take pictures of her and her family waiting and greeting her husband and father of her kids. He had been deployed in Kuwait and after 16 months of deployment, he is finally home!

I felt really honored to be surrounded by so many Marines, especially on a day like this. Some of them were still on base and they helped keep "the fort" down while organizing the homecoming for the Marines who were coming home to their families.Thanks for serving and protecting the country.
